Sneaky Ways Guys Will Make You Pay

Some people are meticulous penny pinchers and will go to seriously great lengths to save a dime. We all want to save money where we can, but most of us can tell when its necessary to drop a few extra bucks. Dating is one of those times. Keep an eye out for these traps.

You go Dutch on the first date. Old fashioned or not, the first date is when he should be trying to impress you most. If he’s comfortable enough to let you pay half the bill on this crucial day, think of what he’ll be trying to get away with months down the road when he’s comfortable.

He’ll guilt you into it. As crappy as it is to have a huge debt load, it’s not your responsiblity to have his back all the time.

He suggests you come over to make dinner – you grab everything on your way over.

He refuses to go out. If he’s “sick of the bar scene” or “doesn’t dance”, that’s fine, but if you want to go out, it doesn’t mean that you should have to bribe him by paying for everything. He should be able to let his frugal guard down once in a while for you.

When you buy tickets online, you have to do it because his credit card is maxed. Make sure he pays you back, and don’t feel bad about reminding him.
