Twilight hottie, Taylor Lautner is throwing in his werewolf towel (until the next installment of the Twilight movie) and is getting ready to play Stretch Armstrong in the upcoming movie. The movie, which will be based on the infamous toy of the same name, will have Taylor showing off his action chops.
Stretch Armstrong is a superhero with a very unique power, his limbs can stretch for miles. The 3D flick is set to be shot and released by the end of the year which would give Twihards a double dose of Taylor this Fall. A rep for Universal Studios says “He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our stretch.”
As Hollywood’s current golden boy, I am definitely worried that the young hottie might find himself playing a laughable and childish role in Stretch Armstrong, rather than one that would help secure his top spot among the greats. While he will probably rake in the dough at the box office, Taylor Lautner might have just set himself up for a career bust.
