Gilt Celebrates Canadian Fashion

First of all, if I don't make at least one pun, I'm going to turn into a pile of dust, so let's just get this over with: don't feel Gilt-y about spending online — for the month of March, you can be supporting Canadian designers.

That's right (in case my wit didn't make it clear): Gilt — the online shopping destination — is celebrating Canadian fashion by featuring 10 Canadian designers in a series of flash sales on their website. The series will run until the end of March, and will also offer free shipping which ends on March 28.

So far the designer roster looks a little something like this: Ela Handbags (March 10), Cuchara (March 11), Christopher Bates (March 11), Beaufille (March 12), Chip Foster (March 12), Sid Neigum (March 13), Phillipe Dubac (March 19) — plus of course, more.

But that's not all. (But wait! There's more!) In addition to sale supporting Canadian designers, Gilt members can shop sales curated by Canadian bloggers and editors, including Alexander Liang of Kenton Magazine, and Michelle Bilodeau of Front Row Mag

"We're thrilled to be partnering with such talented Canadian designers for this exciting series," said Marshall Porter, SVP and GM of International and Business Development, Gilt. "We're constantly working to bring our members a more exciting, gratifying shopping experience at Gilt."

And speaking of shopping at Gilt, to become a member all you have to do is head to their official site and then bask in the warm glow of flash sales and supporting Canadian designers. No more puns, I promise.
