We all know that Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Chocolates, candy and sad-looking teddy bears have been in every store for weeks and we’ve been near-choked with the onslaught of stores pushing the gifts for the one you love campaigns down our throats. We love getting presents for no real reason (Valentine’s Day is the only time my fiancé© actually considers getting me flowers”not complaining about that), and while February 14 is an important day for some, this year, we’re looking to step it up the day before for Galentine’s Day.
And what better way to celebrate a day of love with your girls that penis-shaped churros? There isn’t one, really.
Fonda Lola, a staple Mexican restaurant in Toronto is making your Galentine’s Day date even better with its signature churros. Except, instead of the usual kinda-phallic shape, they’re embracing the peen and going full penis-shaped with their signature dessert and we’re 100 per cent okay with this. (When you try their churros, or, really, anything else on their menu, you’ll understand why.)
As a part of their #MexicanFiesta dinner, the $40 price fixe meal includes tequila (duh), three taster entradas, a soup or salad (you’re going to want to try the Hand Held Caesar Salad–TRUST) and three mains and to finish the meal off (Get it? Get it?), one mammoth churros penis, which will hopefully be the only penis you ever share with your bestie.
Okay, so technically this a part of a Valentine’s Day thing (marketed for friends or couples with a great sense of humour), but we think it would be the perfect way to spend the evening with your girls, especially if you’re planning on seeing How to Be Single this weekend. But make sure to take a snap before you start chowing down because this off-menu special will be something you want to remember”just maybe filter it a bit before putting it on Insta.
This special menu starts this Thursday and runs through the whole weekend, so be sure to get yours before everyone else comes first (sorry, it’s too easy).
