Vanessa Paradis Promotes Conscious at H&M

Vanessa Paradis is the new spokesperson for Conscious at H&M, the fashion store’s new sustainable collection. H&M is going green by showing how sustainable fashion is still great fashion.

The Conscious collection for spring includes romantic looks and floral designs. The collection includes a ruffle yellow sundress, zip-up utility jacket, floral-print pants, a floor length dress, a cropped jumpsuit and a tropical-print t-shirt dress. The line will also include accessories and footwear.

There is also a line for men that includes blazers, chinos, ikat-print shirts, shorts and a few printed gems for children and babies.

I like being part of something like the Conscious collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe, Paradis said. I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.

Everything in the Conscious collection is made from sustainable and eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel.

Along with the collection, H&M will also be launching a garment collecting action. The store will be encouraging customers to bring in any unwanted clothing from any store. In return, customers will receive a voucher at H&M for each bag of clothes they bring in, up to two bags per customer per day.

The entire Conscious collection will be available in H&M stores and online starting March 25.
