Kristen Bell and her fiance Dax Shepard are expecting their first child together! The couple announced the news earlier this week through Kristen’s rep.
They are expecting their first child in late spring, the rep confirmed.
A source added: They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents. Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now.
Dax and Kristen have been together since 2007. The pair got in engaged in 2009 but say they have no immediate plans to get married — Kristen says she doesn’t feel it is right until her gay and lesbian friends have the same rights.
That’s why we’ve been so hesitant, Kristen explained during an interview with The Advocate earlier this year. Dax and I have talked about it a lot, and this issue is very important to both of us. We’re just standing up for what we believe in. Period.
This will be the first child for both Dax and Kristen.
