Christina Aguilera‘s rep is on damage control duty after racy photos of the singer were released yesterday.
Hackers got into Aguilera’s stylist’s (presumably e-mail) account and stole the photos, according to the star’s rep.
“The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist,” said Aguilera’s rep.
Some of the photos show Aguilera partially covered in a robe or t-shirt (albeit see-through). The risque ones show her barely covered in a bondage-esque crystal contraption (neck and wrist cuffs and all), technically covered by pasties, although not by much.
Her rep says they are working on finding the hackers and called their conduct “reprehensible.”
The semi-nude photos show a noticeable scar near her breast that have some gossip sites crying boob job.
It’s been a rough few months for Aguilera. The singer filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Jordan Bratman, on October 14.
To top that, her big comeback film, Burlesque, hasn’t been doing well. It was released November 24, but has been getting low scores from many critics. I still think it’s worth a trip just for the singing, not to mention Stanley Tucci.
