Zoe Saldana and her fiancé©, Keith Britton launched MyFDB, a fashion database that is based on the idea behind IMDB. MyFDB includes everything from magazine covers, photo shoots and the campaigns that all photographers, models, celebrities and make-up artists participate in.
“It’s really for anyone who loves fashion magazines, luxury brands, celebrities, models — you can browse them all MyFDB.COM,” Saldana told Fashionista, “and coming in August you’ll be able to shop some of the images as well.
Basically, MyFDB is the answer to all our fashion prayers! And Saldana and Britton aren’t finished yet. They’ve got some pretty big plans to expand their current fashion database.
Before MyFDB, there wasn’t any website giving fashion professionals credit where credit is due for their work, Saldana explained. We were inspired to level the playing field for them while organizing the industry by fashion credits. Soon we will be launching MyFDB Vintage that will cover the iconic and timeless magazine covers and ad campaigns from decades past.”
MyFDB is a wonderful idea and will definitely have me spending hours upon hours searching through my favorite photo shoots.
