Tina Fey Welcomes a Baby Girl!

It’s a girl! Tina Fey and her husband, Jeff Richmond, welcomed their second child into the world last week and named her Penelope Athena Richmond.

Earlier this year, Fey revealed on the Oprah Show how she has struggled to balance her work and home life while trying to plan for a second child.

I thought ’30 Rock’ would be canceled by now and I would have time to do this, she said. “My husband and I really decided that we felt rather than risk having ’30 Rock’ end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritize our family.”

Even though she seemed to be under stress, Fey says she had an easy and smooth pregnancy.

It’s great to see another Hollywood couple prioritize their family over their careers. I say, more power to you, Tina!

Penelope is Fey and Richmond’s second child together. They also have a 5-year-old daughter named Alice.
