Sofia Vergara Launching Shapewear Line

Sofia Vergara is launching her own range of shapewear for Kmart. The shapewear will be a new addition to her existing line of clothing, footwear, accessories and home goods. 

"My shapewear launch is very exciting and really fun for me because the colors and materials are so sexy," Vergara said. "Shapewear as always been a part of a women's wardrobe, but I wanted it to look cute, not like a horrible girdle. It's for the everyday woman who wants to look good without spending a lot of money on shapewear, earrings or high heels that make her look cute and sexy." 

Vergara is a fan of using shapewear, saying it helps to "smooth everything out." For her new line, the actress made sure to be involved in the designing process. 

"I'm not really a designer but my lines are based on what I like and what I wear," she said. "We have a lot of meetings and all of the products get tried on by me." 

The line will include nine pieces, including bodysuits, camisoles, tank tops, bustiers, shaping briefs, thigh slimmers and slips. The pieces will be available in 800 Kmart stores beginning in June, with prices ranging from $14.99 to $23.99.
