Lauren Conrad is choosing business over boys and venturing into yet another business opportunity. The former Hills star will launch a makeup line in the near future.
LC called it quits with boyfriend, Kyle Howard, in June, but instead of being a regular fixture on the Hollywood singles scene, she’s decided to put all of her attention and focus into Lauren Conrad, Inc.
Conrad launched TheBeautyDepartment.com with her longtime hairstyling pro, Kristen Ess, and makeup artist, Amy Nadine, back in April and they’re taking it one step further to make the website’s beauty and makeup do-it-yourself tips into the real thing.
Right now, one of my main objectives is to expand TheBeautyDepartment.com into a product line, Conrad wrote on her Forbes.com blog.
Although the line isn’t complete just yet, LC is hard at work.
I am currently researching all of my options, but should begin the process of executing an actual line very soon, she wrote.
But if you think one major project on the go is enough for LC, you’re mistaken. The reality star turned fashion designer also plans to expand her already-successful apparel lines. She currently has two labels on the go, LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s and the more recently launched Paper Crown.
On top of that, I’ll be working on completing my fifth book, The Fame Game, the star added.
