Elisabetta Canalis Goes Nude for PETA

Elisabetta Canalis is the latest celebrity to go nude for PETA. Featured in the organization’s I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur ad campaigns, Canalis bares it all to ask people to stop buying and wearing fur.

I decided to go nude because I think that nudity always creates a big reaction, the model and actress said. That is what is required to keep people’s attention on such a brutal practice. These poor animals are electrocuted, skinned alive, drowned, and bludgeoned just for the sake of fashion.

Canalis added that she feels she has to stand up for animal rights because they aren’t able to do so on their own.

Don’t buy fur, she added. Even a little trim – your gloves or your bag or your jackets ¦. You must remember that animals don’t have a voice. You must be their voice. Never be afraid to speak up.
