It's what you never knew you've always wanted. Britney Spears is soon launching an lingerie collection, and she made the announcement by revealing a photo of herself modeling the line's intimates.
"Coming very soon… The Intimate Collection, by yours truly," Spears tweeted yesterday, along with a link to the collection's website. "Just a peek at what's to come. xo"
The line's Facebook page posted their first ad, featuring Spears in a two-piece black set with high-waisted panties and sheer cutouts.
"Every woman should feel confident and beautiful in everything she puts on," Spears said in a press release. "My vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious, and comfortable at the same time. I am excited to introduce this collection because I feel that we accomplished exactly that."
The collection will include vintage-inspired pieces such as bustiers and kimonos, as well as a range of loungewear such as jersey camisoles, shorts and sweats. The prices range from $17-$79 USD.
This is actually a pretty surprising move for Spears, who is currently in the midst of a Las Vegas residency. The singer has never shown much interest in the fashion world, but her sexy looks of the early 2000s would definitely make for great inspiration for an intimates collection. And, let's be real, Queen Britney can do no wrong (don't argue).
The Intimate Britney Spears will be available starting September 9, 2014 at the line's official online store, CHANGE lingerie stores and at Bare Necessities online.
