Fifty Shades of Grey is all about the raunchy sex, which is an aspect that so far has been missing from previews of the upcoming movie. We know that there will be no full frontal nudity from Jamie Dornan (the film's Christian Grey), but the movie will still be rated R for "unusual behaviour" (that's a thing?). The movie's trailers have been pretty timid in terms of revealing what goes in in the Red Room of Pain, which has left fans wondering if the movie has done said scenes justice. That is until The Weeknd released the explicit video for "Earned It," a song from the film's equally anticipated soundtrack.
If you were missing the bondage in the Fifty Shades of Grey promotional campaign, The Weeknd is here to fix that. The entire music video features cabaret dancers wearing boob and butt revealing lingerie (with pasties in all the right places), while The Weeknd watches them (not unlike Grey himself) before joining them on stage. The highlight of the video is towards the end when a naked Dakota Johnson (the movie's Anastasia Steele) appears on stage, tied up in rope and hanging from the ceiling.
It seems that everyone is hoping that the music video is serving as something of a preview of the kind of bondage scenes that will appear in the movie. Seeing Johnson in such a compromising position shows that perhaps the movie lives up to fans' expectations after all.
In other Fifty Shades of Grey news, the infamous tampon scene in which Christian Grey removes a tampon from Anastasia Steele's lady parts will NOT be in the movie. And I think we're all pretty happy about that. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, you can read an excerpt here.
