Adriana Lima is the New Face of Maybelline New York… Again

Adriana Lima is returning to Maybelline New York to continue her role as a global spokesperson. The Brazilian beauty originally joined the brand in 2003 and served as a spokesperson until 2009. She is now returning to her post to join other current spokeswoman, including Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato, Jourdan Dunn and Marloes Horst.

“We are honored to welcome back Adriana to our amazing roster of spokespeople,” Jerome Bruhat, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York, said in a statement. “Globally, women admire not only Adriana’s beauty but also her commitment to helping those in need. We are honored to partner with her again.  Her passion for life and positive energy is undeniable. She truly is a Maybelline woman.”

Part of Lima's appeal is her connection to her fans. She has the largest social media presence of any fashion model around the world. She is also dedicated to her philanthropic work, which includes St. Luke Foundation for Haiti, an organization that helps provide safe medical services to expecting mothers.

“It’s wonderful to be a part of the Maybelline New York brand again,” said Adriana. “I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl, and I look forward to the work we will do together. The imagery is always beautiful and positive which is what I admire most about the brand. To be a part of that again is a dream come true!”

Adriana's new ads for Maybelline will begin appearing in print and on television later this summer.
