There has been a lot of anticipation surrounding Britney Spears’ latest endeavor and Britney and her people are taking advantage of that fact to tease her fans with tidbits of information that will undoubtedly have them excited. First it was teasers of the video from her latest single, “Hold it Against Me.” This time around, Britney pulled out the big guns and shared, not just the title of her upcoming album, but also the album art.
“This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all,” Britney tweeted. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years. I’ve put everything I have into it.”
She then tweeted what many predict are possible song lyrics from Femme Fatale.
“Sexy and strong, dangerous yet mysterious, cool yet confident!
Being the ever elusive Britney (or the lovely social media people who tweet for her), she ended her string of tweets with “March…” signaling that Femme Fatale’s release date of March 15th is not to be forgotten.
While the release date of Femme Fatale is just a bit more than a month away, apparently the actual album is not quite done yet. Turns out the producers are still putting the final touches on the album by figuring out which songs to include in the final cut. With the precedent that “Hold it Against Me” has set, I’m not surprised that the producers, record execs and management are feeling indecisive.
Well, I hope they hurry it up! Time is ticking!
