Everyone want to look better naked, whether it’s while trying on swimsuits, going to the doctor or, um, other reasons. And while plastic surgery, 3 hour workouts and drastic diets can make you look better naked, there are plenty of ways to have a buffer body without major expense, pain or hunger. Many of these tips are also just good, healthy practices. Below are some easy tips for you:
Stand up straight.
If you have good posture, with your shoulders back and your tummy tucked in, you will look taller and slimmer when you are naked. This simple step will give you a sleeker silhouette.
Dim the lights.
Softer lighting, candle or fire light (not so good for swimsuit shopping) can all make you look and feel better naked. Nobody looks good under stark, harsh lights, anyway, and soft lighting can set the mood for other activities.
Apply some spray tan.
Believe it or not, a little spray tan will help you look better naked. Not because your body will look better with a tan, but because a tan can make cellulite look less obvious, thus improving the way your thighs or bottom look. So much cheaper than plastic surgery, too.
Drink more water.
The more hydrated you are, the less water your cells will retain, making all those little fat cells practically dehydrate and shrink down. Being hydrated also decreases the bumpiness of cellulite. So drink up! (Water, that is.)
Spray tan again.
Another little spray tanner trick is to go just the slightest bit darker on the sides of your stomach. This is similar to using blusher to make your cheekbones more prominent. This little bit of subtle shading will make you look better naked by giving you just a hint more of an hourglass figure.
Exfoliating your skin will keep it smooth and non-flaky, as well as increasing the blood flow to your skin and making it seem rosier and more healthy. Exfoliating is also a good idea before applying self tanner (see above), and gives you a smoother shave. Just don’t exfoliate heavily on delicate areas like your chest (you want to look rosy, not sunburned.)
Cut down on bloaters.
You know what bloats you “ salt, sugars, carbonated sodas, beer. Every woman is different, so if you know you bloat after eating pickles or drinking margaritas, skip them for a while and pump up your water intake. You’ll be surprised by how much better you look naked with this simple step.
