The Spring/Summer Mugler Women’s Wear Collection will be more than just a fashion show next week, when Lady Gaga uses it to premiere her short film.
According to MTV News, the film was directed by fashion-film directors and fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin under the creative direction of Nicola Formichetti, Mugler’s creative director and stylist.
Set to feature a new remix of one of Mama Monster’s tracks, the yet-to-be-titled film will stream online the following day, and fans have so far been treated to a behind-the-scenes still.
Of course, if you’ve been following the evolution of Lady Gaga’s career, you’ll know that her collaboration with Formichetti is anything but new – especially since the singer’s previously debuted tracks during shows, walked in shows, and, well, been styled by the eclectic designer for some time now.
But if you can’t possibly wait until Wednesday, don’t fret: starting Monday, Mugler.tumblr.com will feature live blogging from Mugler’s Atelier – and we can also assume that as soon as the film’s premiered, the internet will go buck wild.
We can’t help but wonder how Milan plans to one-up this.
