Ali Fedotowsky Takes Another Stab at Love

Get ready ladies, the new season of The Bachelorette starts tonight, starring Ali Fedotowsky who made quite a lasting impression on the last season of The Bachelor. For those who don’t remember, Ali was the fan-favorite to win over Jake Pavelka’s heart but she was soon forced to choose between her job or finding love. Unfortunately, her job as an account executive won that round, but Ali soon regreted her decision and tried to call Jake up for a second chance. Fortunately for TV fans everywhere, Jake declined and now the 25-year-old Bachelorette is out on her very own quest for love.

While Ali did have 25 of the most eligible bachelors at her finger tips (who wouldn’t want that!?), she did admit that she had some reservations. “I didn’t necessarily know that because they were accepting a rose, it meant that they actually wanted to be with me. So, yes, I questioned that a lot along the way, and I was scared,” Ali told TVGuide.com.

The Bachelorette also says that she tries to work on her fear of rejection in this new season. After the whole Jake debacle, I must say it takes a bit of courage to go at it again on national television. Well that, and a nice hefty pay cheque.

If you’re not an Ali fan, you’ll still want to stay tuned this season for the 25 fantastically good-looking men. Who doesn’t like eye candy? Of the 25, 3 are some of Canada’s finest who will duke it out with the others for that single red rose. Don’t miss out on seeing Chris H., a 27-year-old real estate developer from Vancouver and Craig M., a 34-year-old (the oldest on this season) dental sales rep from Sarnia. According to the buzz on the Internets, 26-year-old entertainment wrestler from Toronto, Justin, has been pegged as the “villain” of the season. I guess he’ll be throwing our polite reputation right out the window.

Apparenly we’ll also be seeing an appearance by Canada’s own, Barenaked Ladies on this season of The Bachelorette, along with trips to Iceland, Turkey, Portugal, and Tahiti.

The new season of The Bachelorette starts tonight at 8/9c on ABC.
