Well, it was only a matter of time, right? (No.)
According to CocoPerez, a new type of clothing is being developed that allows you to check in electronically to places you go, and connect better via social media networks. Think of it as Four Square . . . but with clothing.
But get this: you can also use these items to track down missing clothing. Case in point, if you lose a sock, you can send a message to help track down where it is. How that will work exactly, nobody knows, but it’s either a great idea or further fodder for anyone who fears Big Brother.
Of course, only those super into expanding their online brand would probably want to invest in clothes that physically connect to the internet. The rest of us will probably be more than happy just using our phones.
Or am I assuming incorrectly?
