Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Minnillo have just welcomed a baby boy into the world. Camden John was born Wednesday evening at a healthy 8lbs and 9 oz.
We are incredibly proud the announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey, the happy couple said in a statement. Born today [Wednesday] at 6:54 PM, he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.
Just two days before Camden John arrived, Vanessa took to her Twitter page to reveal how necessary it is to get everything ready for the baby ahead of time.
“It’s a good idea to put all ur baby stuff together ahead of time AND try it out. Then ur familiar,” she wrote. Vanessa was certainly correct and seemed to have the right idea just in time.
Nick and Vanessa got married in Summer 2011 and announced their pregnancy back in March. Their news comes just months after Nick’s ex-wife Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl.
