Online shoppers are more than familiar with Net-a-Porter.com and their always incredible fashion stock. However, beauty aficionados can soon add the e-retailer to their favourites.
On March 20, Net-a-Porter will — wait for it — begin selling beauty products.
Marie Claire UK reports that the site will have its own beauty navigation panel (alongside the likes of shoes, bags, etc.), and from the get-go, customers will have their pick of products from Chantecaille, Natura Bisse, Aesop, Le Metier de Beaute, Philip B, and James Read. Later, comes a “bigger rollout,” but that’s not too shabby for the first wave.
“We are delighted to continue the expansion of the Net-a-Porter brand with the addition of beauty,” Net-a-Porter managing director said. “The move is a natural evolution of our business. We have already established ourselves as a truly global fashion destination, and have a super-sophisticated, discerning customer with an appetite for newness and the latest trends that extends beyond fashion.”
Here’s to Net-a-Porter’s new direction! (And the benefits we will all reap from it!)
