Kim Kardashian recently did some purging of her closet when her boyfriend Kanye West reportedly insisted she get rid of some of the pieces he didn’t like. Kardashian apparently obliged and is now auctioning said pieces on eBay.
The reality star is selling items that include dresses, shoes, sweaters and shirts from designers like Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Roland Mouret, Thierry Mugler and Dolce & Gabana.
The clothes I got rid of will be up on eBay for a charity auction! Kardashian tweeted. Going to Life Change Community Church.
However, she failed to give fans all of the information. Kardashian is actually only giving 10% of her earnings from the auction to charity. The rest she is keeping for herself, according to an eBay disclaimer, which also states that the charity must pay a fee to an affiliate for handling the donations. Kim has become well-known for her money-making schemes (remember that big, giant wedding with a marriage that only lasted 72 days?), so this doesn’t surprise me.
Kim’s sister Kourtney is also holding an auction of her own for her maternity wardrobe, along with a few pieces from Scott Disick’s closet.
You can check out Kim’s eBay auction here. The clothes range from size 4 to size 8, with shoes in size 6 and 6 ½. There are also a couple of electronic items like Blackberry smartphones and tablets.
