We know that not every Hollywood marriage is even remotely close to the former Kutcher-Moore pairing (we can only hope), but with so many divorce rumours floating around Katy Perry and Russell Brand, it’s only a matter of time before we find out the truth.
However, according to the “Teenage Dream” singer, the truth is quite simple: the two are happy, together and staying that way.
Tweeting, “First I’m pregnant & then I’m divorced. What am I, All My Children?” on Wednesday night, Perry was backed up by husband Russell on a taping of the Ellen Degeneres show (to air today): ” I am really happily married,” he revealed, though claiming it’s hard to avoid Internet rumours “because a lot of the nude women Web sites I quite enjoy.”
Cue: faces of concern and the disbelief that Brand oggles websites over his arguably beautiful wife.
However, on Grammy nominee announcement day (because that’s what it’s called, right?) Perry was seen proudly wearing her ring, while Brand continues to sing her praises whenever he gets the chance.
Let’s just hope that unlike the Demi/Ashton debacle, where there’s smoke, there’s absolutely no fire.
