The Kardashian clan has just signed on to do three more seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E!. And their deal came with a hefty paycheque
Not including sponsorship and merchandise, the Kardashian/Jenner family will be raking in $40 million from their new contract with E!, the largest deal in reality TV history. I guess allowing a camera crew into your personal life is really hard work.
The new contract will include seasons seven, eight and nine, with the entire Kardashian family getting a piece of the $40 million — Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Kourtney’s son Mason and husband Scott Disick, and Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom, will have their own contracts. I wonder if Kanye West will be making an appearance on the upcoming season.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians is E!’s most watched series of all time. Five of its episodes are included in E!’s 10 Most Watched Telecasts Ever. Season six of Keeping Up With The Kardashians pulled in 3 million viewers. It’s no wonder E! was willing to give the Kardashians such a big payday.
Now that they’ve got the Kardashians, E! is working on securing a new deal with executive-producer of the show, Ryan Seacrest, who is expected to sign any day now.
The seventh season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will premiere on E! on May 20.
Are you excited to have three more years with the Kardashians?
