Now that Jessica Simpson has given birth to baby Maxwell, it’s time to work on what she spent nine months perfecting: maternity clothes.
Set to create a maternity line for Destination Maternity, Jessica Simpson will branch from her existing clothing line to create a “70s vintage” feel that includes the likes of denim, leggings, maxis, jackets, blazers and relaxed sweaters.
“I’m pleased to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great,” Jessica Simpson said in a statement. “You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off.”
Moms with bumps can expect to show them off courtesy of Jessica Simpson’s new line (called Jessica Simpson Maternity) in the fall, with prices ranging from about $36 to $69 for sweaters and capes.
Seems like Jessica Simpson’s trying to continue her reign as a “Fashion Star” with this latest endeavour. (Sorry. The TV reference had to happen at some point.)
