Jennifer Lopez has announced a new t-shirt collection called Teeology. In partnership with ShoeDazzle founders, MJ Eng and Brian Lee, the website is members-only and features graphic and basic t-shirts for men and women.
JLO’s role is chief curator, which means she oversees the selection of artists and designers chosen to have their designs featured on a Teeology shirt. Members of the website can scroll through the designs and vote for their favorites. The t-shirt voted most popular will go into production.
“Anything creative always piques my interest,” Lopez said. “This is a different type of online experience where you get to be involved in which designs get made. And it gives us a beeline to what people really like.”
This might come as a surprise to most, but despite being known for her fashion-forward looks on-camera, JLO says she spends most of her time in t-shirts.
“I live in T-shirts when I’m not doing the red carpet,” she said. “I love the sexy, casual feel and the way a good T-shirt makes you feel cool. It’s like you’re not trying too hard.”
Tees on Teeology.com range from $20 to $29. Memberships are free!
