Photoshop has been coming under fire lately thanks to excessive airbrushing in campaigns and on magazines (see: that one cover in which Kristen Stewart is completely missing an arm). However, it has one — and probably more — celebrity fan: Jennifer Lawrence.
“I love Photoshop more than anything in the world,” she told Access Hollywood, when discussing her new campaign as the face of the Miss Dior handbag.
“Of course [the images] are Photoshop — people don’t actually look like that.”
Preach it, friend.
However, the conversation was actually part of a bigger discussion: Jennifer Lawrence and Dior.
“Dior represents beauty and strength in women, that’s how I feel when I’m wearing his clothes,” she said in the behind-the-scenes video. “The Miss Dior bag is a classic look — it’s a timeless bag you can wear anywhere, at any age. I’ve always been a huge fan of Dior and being a part of something with such an incredible history is an honour.”
You may remember Ms. Lawrence was wearing Dior the night she won her Oscar (and had that awesome/memorable/beautiful fall). A campaign photo is up at Vogue UK now, so check it out and let us know what you think.
