Introducing “Diet” Perfume?

Oh boy. Really, it was only a matter of time before perfume think-tanks invented a fragrance that claims to help you lose weight, and Veld’s has supposedly debuted it.

Prends-Moi will apparently stifle snack cravings by stimulating the release of beta-endorphins or a “pleasure message” which triggers a sense of “well-being” that will repress your desire to snack. Applied three to four times a day for four weeks, it’s effective thanks to caffeine, carntine, and spirulina extract — or so they say.

Developed by French perfume house, Robertet, the Veld’s product has already sold 6000 bottles, and the demand has only increased. Evidently, it’s a token “summer smell” thanks to notes of bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit, so you can evoke a summertime vibe while trying to curb said snacking habits.

Priced at $120, you can try it for yourself — just remember that healthy weight loss comes from exercisng and eating right. (Not necessarily from spritzing a product onto your pulse points.)
