Introducing: Ambassador Kate Moss

If you’re not super familiar with Kerastase, you’re about to be: the brand has just named Kate Moss as the ambassador for their first-ever Styling range.

The hair care brand will be represented by the veteran model, where she’ll promote — and celebrate — “hair moving freely and the pleasure of high tech, sensual treasures.”

To do that, Kerastase enlisted the help of stylist Luigi Mureno (studio hairdresser and Artistic Director of the new line) who styled Moss’ own hair to reflect the brand’s mandate: wavy, loose curls, and tons and tons of volume.

The advertising campaign will be released in May, where the promotion of “couture styling” will take precedent. Pretty exciting, considering Marc Jacobs just styled his own models for F/W 2013 with big hair, brushed out curls, and very textured looks.

So 2013 = as much volume as possible. Which is exciting! And if you’re not excited yet, we all probably will be when we finally see Kate’s Kerastase ads debut in a few months.
