Gwyneth Palrow to Star in Musical

Gwyneth Paltrow has recently made a mark on the music industry with last year’s Country Strong and her many appearances on Glee. Now, Ryan Murphy, the man behind Glee, says he is working on a musical that will star Gwyneth herself.

This prospect of Gwyneth and Ryan working together has most people excited, but I’m a tad bit more skeptical. But I seem to be part of a small population of people who feel that way. It would be quite interesting to see Gywneth in a movie with Maya Rudolph, however. With two very different acting styles, it would definitely make for something worth watching.

“I loved Gwyneth in Country Strong and love it when she`s drunk and on the floor spitting up pills,” Murphy said.

Ryan has worked with Gwyneth on a big screen before. Back in 2006, Ryan directed Gwyn in Running with Scissors, a film adapted from Augusten Burrough’s memoir.
