Collaborations for all! But especially eLUXE and Aimee Song of SongofStyle.com, who've teamed up to design (and release) a six-piece capsule collection.
Songs of Style for eLUXE melds Song's style with what's been described as "the season's hottest sweatshirt trend" for a line available exclusively through eLUXE as of December 4. Song, of course, is a style blogger based in L.A., and has become renowned for her laid-back, west coast aesthetic.
Items — crew and raw-neck sweatshirts and t-shirts — are priced between $40 and $90, and boast statements (like "Do Epic Chic") reflective of the season.
"For this collaboration I really wanted to hone in on my approach to fashion and style with my 'Do Epic Chic' logo and my love for Los Angeles with the playful, 'VioLA,'" explained Song. "The t-shirt and sweatshirt styles go perfectly with my effortless style of dressing and I'm excited to pair them with denim and sky-high heels this holiday. Working with eLUXE has been a great experience and I'm excited to share my designs with the Canadian market and beyond."
"We're excited to launch a capsule collection that is powered by the social influence of the web, specifically Aimee Song who has a deep following globally," added eLUXE VP of Business Development, Kat Peterson.
eLUXE is based in Toronto and launched in 2011. And evidently, we'll see even more capsule collections as 2014 rolls out.
