On the heels of Britney Spears' big lingerie line reveal, Dita Von Teese has debuted a new collection designed specially for pregnant and nursing women. She already has a collection of retro underwear, but the burlesque dancer says every woman should feel sexy, even when dealing with sleepless night, spit-ups and dirty diapers.
The limited edition capsule collection is called Von Follies by Dita Von Teese and was created in partnership with Destination Maternity.
“Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?” Von Teese said. “The collection I created with Destination Maternity is designed to capture the spirit of retro glamour, while inspiring confidence and meeting the practical requirements and everyday needs of a new mother.”
The collection is retro-inspired and will include embellished lace bras with and without wires and matching panties. Each of the pieces were designed with new moms in mind, so the bras have clip-down tabs for nursing and detachable cups for added comfort. The panties were made with a discreet control panel for a bit of extra support. The items will cost between $39 and $55.
Von Follies by Dita Von Teese is available online at DestinationMaternity.com.
