Cindy Crawford’s 10-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, turned heads after her modelling debut earlier this year. But with the success following Versace’s first childrenswear campaign, Cindy Crawford admits to being just a little bit jealous.
“I look at my daughter, and I’m like, ‘You have my old skin and I want it back! You have my old legs, I want them back! You have my old hair, I want it back!'” she told Access Hollywood. “She is just getting more and more beautiful. But at the same time, there’s so much good that comes with it. And I think if you’re happy in life, that’s just easier to take.”
But who’s the happy one? Cindy Crawford or Kaia?
Turns out, it’s both. With Mama Crawford looking over her mini-self, both Cindy Crawford and Kaia are having the time of their lives.
“I’m a protective mama, so I said, ‘Who is doing the pictures?’ I said, ‘I don’t want her looking like a tart. She can’t wear makeup,” Cindy said of the Versace campaign. “I’m going to hold the bar high for her, in terms of photographers and stuff, because I know.”
With the new tidal wave of junior models, it seems like the supermodel phenomenon is about to hit us again.
