Consider today your chance to build a library. Not only does Kelly Cutrone‘s second (and personally very highly-anticipated) second book, Normal Gets You Nowhere, hit shelves, but Betty White’s If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Don’t) joins it, too. Which, you may recall, is her second book in less than a year. (And what can we say? The woman has a lot to talk about.)
This latest endeavour follows October’s Here We Go Again: My Life In Television and as described by Amazon, details everything from her TV years to her crush on Robert Redford to her lack of knowledge regarding her own hair colour. (HERO.)
But what can you expect from Ms. White? At 89-years-old she proves that retirement is for the weak – especially since she admitted that she “doesn’t think of it as work – it’s fun” in a recent interview with USA Today.
The former Golden Girl has also signed on to a Punk’d-esque show for NBC and continues to earn award nominations for her work on Hot In Cleveland. But what makes her book seem that much better (than, say, Snooki’s) is how she describes her zest for life: “There are so many things to do in life as it is, so why just stop and do nothing?”
Amen, Betty.
