It’s been a hectic couple of months for Ashton Kutcher, who went from camera spokesperon (we’ve all seen those commercials) to star of Two and a Half Men to commenter of major news events to ex-husband of Demi Moore.
Now, Ashton Kutcher is finally opening up.
After sounding off on the Joe Paterno situation without knowing the full story, the actor came under fire. However, according to Ashton Kutcher, he learned a valuable lesson.
“I think the biggest thing is it’s a real-time service – the impulse is to sorta stay ahead of the curve and know what’s going on,” he said about Twitter. “I just take that extra pause now and make sure I’m fully educated about what I’m talking about and just not to get that sort of impulse feedback, which I think is the biggest thing.”
Yes, Ashton. Toning down the “must Tweet now” impulse is something to curb, definitely.
“It’s a great lesson for life, too,” Ashton Kutcher continued. “Taking that pause before you do and and act and being sure what you’re doing is what you want to be doing.”
Not that we’re going to comment directly on the Ashton-Demi situation, but we are going to hope that he’s referring to the error of his ways.
