Alexa Chung Hits Prime Time

We know Alexa Chung’s got the fashion world mastered, so what’s the next logical step?

Appearing on Gossip Girl.

While no official statement’s been made — therefore keeping why she’s on the show, the role she’s playing or how long she’ll be on for a mystery — Ms. Chung was sported in full hair and makeup on set in New York City yesterday.

This will be the last season for the CW series that debuted in 2007, and considering the show’s defined by its fashion (if we ignore all its drama), it makes sense to at least have a cameo by one of the biggest names in fashion today.

Or at least that’s what we’ll tell ourselves when we tune in to watch Alexa’s cameo/role/appearance. (Maybe she’s Lonely Boy’s long lost sister.)
