For all you gleeks out there (myself included) the second episode of the season is said to be a showstopper and an ode to the pop diva herself Britney Spears. The episode entitled Britney/Brittany will have Brittany (Heather Morris) paying tribute to the pop princess and showcase a sexier side of glee club.
The all-star cast will not only be joined by Britney but also John Stamos who will play the dentist responsible for the hallucinations and some Britney shenanigans. Earlier in the week Glee’s creator Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that members of the glee club would undergo anesthesia during a dental appointment and that’s where the Spear’s action would take place.
Rachel (Lea Michele) will take a backseat as the leading lady in this episode only supposed to be performing one song ˜Hit Me Baby One More Time’ and wearing non other then the classic school girl uniform Spears once adorned. As for costumes an ode would not be complete without bringing back some of Spear’s iconic pieces. We all remember that snake that slithered all over Britney’s oily body from Slave 4 U and the futuristic red leather spacesuit from the Oops!… I Did It Again video. The episode cannot be complete without the appearance of the diamond encrusted sheer number that Morris will wear during Toxic. Me Against The Music the Spears and Madonna duo will also be a part of the show and is rumoured to include most glee club members.
Tune into FOX at 8pm tonight to catch a glimpse of the diva herself”oh and the members of the New Directions.
