Singer Alicia Keys and boyfriend, hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz (his real name is Kasseem Dean) officially announced their engagement this week, but there was a tad bit more news for them to reveal. Not only are the two bound for the altar, but it seems Ms. Keys is also pregnant.
The two revealed their little secret after rumours started to swirl around the Internet that Alicia was purposefully wearing loose-fitted clothing to hide a baby bump. Surprisingly enough, those baby rumours held some truth.
Apparently Alicia recently told reporters that she was ready and looking forward to starting a family. “It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time,” she said. It seems her time came a tad bit sooner than she expected.
Alicia Keys, 29, is currently burning up the stage in Europe on her Freedom Tour. While this will be her first child, Swizz, 31, has two sons from previous relationships. Their reps told reporters that the two will be tying the knot in a private ceremony later this year.
