British celeb royalty, David Beckham and the rest of his fashionable clan have designed a t-shirt for Sport Relief, a charitable organization that helps the underprivileged around the world. The proceeds of the t-shirt in question will be sent to a Haiti earthquake relief fund to help those who have been left without basic necessities or shelter of any kind. For an added little bonus the Beckham t-shirt will features a portrait of David in his element with a soccer ball; definitely some nice eye candy to add to your closet.
I find it incredibly refreshing to see so many celebrities doing their part to help out those in need in Haiti, instead of hearing about their not-so-secret indiscretions and fashion faux pas. Alongside the Beckham clan, John Travolta has sent a plane filled with food and other basic needs to Haiti and the Hope for Haiti Benefit telethon, which will be held tomorrow night, will be hosted by George Clooney with scheduled appearances from Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.
