Topshop Opens Boutique Concept in Toronto

Fashionistas rejoice: Topshop has come to Toronto, and the British-based retailer, known for its up-to-the-minute trends at affordable prices, is causing a fashion frenzy.

Located at the Jonathan & Olivia Boutique on Ossington, the concept of the store is actually a boutique within a boutique, and like its counterpart in New York City (where they did the same thing at Opening Ceremony to see how the brand was received), there’s already major buzz being generated.

Topshop is renowned for its fast turnover rate and Canada’s newest addition won’t be any exception as new inventory is expected every two weeks. The cré¨me de la cré¨me of what’s new and hot will be brought out and likely sold out in a matter of days (or less).

Long overdue (and a major relief for those of us inclined to endure the currency and shipping rates for the sake of international online shopping), the Topshop at Olivia & Jonathan is already boasting the hottest looks dominating the closets of various A-listers with vintage-themed tops, overalls, statement shoes and Bohemian-inspired tanks hung up and at the ready.

Though its yet to carry men’s stuff (and its rumored that the makeup and capsule collections by designers like Kate Moss are on tap for the fall), the store’s selection of women’s wear, denim, shoes and accessories more than makes up for it, living up to its slogan as a fashion match made in heaven.
