Without trust a relationship is doomed. Trust is the utmost important key to building a strong and lasting partnership. When we have confidence we are able to let our guard down, open our hearts and create a solid connection. When that trust is broken because of betrayal, it is difficult to mend. Using these methods we can learn to build back that trust that is needed to keep you together for the long haul.
1. Communicate
It is important to voice your opinion, concerns and feelings in a relationship. When your partner is aware of how you feel you can collaborate and help each other out. Also, communication gives you the opportunity to be honest. Although sometimes it may be hard to tell the truth about something you are embarrassed or ashamed of, getting that information off your chest and sharing it with him will only create a stronger bond. Your ability to communicate will rub off on him and he will feel like he can share his deepest and darkest secrets with you.
2. Be Consistent
Consistency is important because if you are acting one way in the first few weeks of your relationship and then suddenly flip the script it will cause your partner to questions if they can trust you? Giving your word or promising him something and then not following through with it is a full-proof way of damaging your trust.
3. Forgive
Being able to forgive him for small errors in judgment will help to work out problems within the relationship and show that you can let go of the past and focus on making your connection stronger. 5. Say Sorry
Admit your mistakes! As much as we would like to always be right, we have to be able to communicate that we can sometimes be wrong. Taking time or space from each other after an argument will let you think about why you started arguing in the first place and how you can remedy the situation. The first step is admitting why you were angry, this will help him figure out what upsets you and how he can fix whatever it is that is causing the fights.
