Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson Split

The Sexiest Man Alive and the Babe of the Year are back on the market.

Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are calling it quits after a little over two years of marriage.

“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” the two said in a joint statement. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

Johansson is said to have broken up with Reynolds, according to People. She’s started apartment hunting in New York City, but for now is in Jamaica with some girlfriends.

Reynolds and Johansson have always been pretty quiet about their relationship as far as the media is concerned. They had a small, private wedding in September 2008, of which no photos were ever released.

It’s been a rough week for power couples in Hollywood. Earlier this week, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens broke up.

The two High School sweethearts ended their four-year relationship, but are reportedly still great friends.

The stars of Dexter, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, also filed for divorce this week.
