Rihanna’s recent collection with River Island was the inspiration for some pretty terrible reviews. But, that’s not stopping Opening Ceremony from showing Rihanna some love. The fashion space is helping Rihanna celebrate her debut line by exhibiting her seven most iconic looks in New York City.
Called RIHtrospective, the exhibit will include a combination of the singer’s red carpet and on-stage outfits. Items will include the pink lace Adam Selman number she wore while performing at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
According to Ri Ri’s stylist, Mel Ottenberg, the exhibit will also show her diverse taste in fashion, whether it’s really pulled together or grungy for performances.
In addition to celebrating Rihanna’s fashion line, the exhibit is also to honor the singer who has released seven albums in seven years. She has also won seven Grammys, seven Billboard awards and recently embarked on her 777 tour.
The RIHtrospective exhibit will open on Tuesday and will run for three weeks.
