Now that Kate Middleton is officially married to Prince William and the Royal Wedding is well behind us, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister might be stealing the spotlight. Rumour has it that none other than Oprah Winfrey is trying to court Pippa Middleton to have her very own TV show on OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network).
One source said they are looking to give Pippa her own reality show, while another said OWN wants to give her a talk show. Yet another source says Barbara Walters is fighting it out with Oprah to see who can snag Pippa first. Barbara thinks the younger Middleton sister would make a great addition to The View.
These sources also say that Pippa wants to be a good sister to Kate and wait until she has settled down into her new life as royalty before making any decisions.
However, a spokesperson for the network said “there’s no truth to the rumor that OWN is developing a series with Pippa Middleton.”
As much as I would love to watch Pippa on TV daily, I have a feeling that this will never come to fruition. Now that these girls are officially part of the royal family, every life decision they make will be heavily scrutinized by the Queen Mum herself. And that is one lady whose bad sad you don’t want to see.
