Lena Dunham was recently interviewed by Playboy and revealed that she is happy to have a normal girl’s physique. In fact, she is so happy with the way she looks, she wouldn’t even trade places with a Victoria’s Secret model.
There would be all kinds of weird challenges to deal with, Dunham told Playboy. I don’t think I’d like it very much. I don’t want to go through life wondering if people are talking to me because I have a big rack. Not being the babest person in the world creates a nice barrier.
However, if Dunham did suddenly have a model’s body, she would try to use it in her favour.
I probably would want to see if I could get free food at restaurants. Then I’d call a doctor and see if she could return me to my former situation.
Dunham has definitely been a leader in self-love and ending body shaming. If any of you have seen an episode of Girls, you know that this is one actress who is not afraid to show it all, and is certainly not ashamed of her body — a refreshing take on an on-going issue in Hollywood.
