Lauren Conrad is showing her dedication to the environment by releasing an eco-friendly accessories line. In partnership with BlueAvocado, the collection is called XO(eco).
The line is comprised of a zip-up pouch that unfolds into a large shopper, a toiletry bag with detachable pouches, a travel bag that is designed for straightening and curling irons, and a lunch case.
Each of the products were made with recycled water bottles and come with an ˜impact label’ that helps buyers better understand how they are positively contributing to the environment. More specifically, it outlines how many recycled water bottles were used to make each product in the line.
I wanted to be part of the solution, not the problem, Conrad said. As a designer, I hope that my choices can raise visibility around the importance of environmental sustainability and start a drive to change with my fans. And what a great way to reuse those bottles we recycle every week.
