Move over Will and Kate, there is a new bride in town and this one might just steal all your thunder. Kim Kardashian is getting married later today in Los Angeles and the reality star is hoping it will be her fairytale come true.
Kardashian is all set to wear a Vera Wang gown (which was picked up yesterday) but the bride has been able to keep all the details to herself. Being the fashionista that she is, I’m sure this dress is going to be sexy yet elegant.
Despite rumours that the bridesmaids will be wearing green (a rumour that was started by Kourtney Kardashian), a source says the bridesmaids will be dressed in accordance to the theme of the day. Since all the invitations asked guests to wear black and white, we can expect the Kardashian sisters to be clad in one of the two colours.
Being that this is a Kardashian wedding, we can expect tons of celebrity guests. Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Ryan Seacrest, Linday Lohan, Ciara, Kathie Lee Gifford, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Serena Williams, Kelly Osbourne, and Kanye West are all expected to be at today’s festivities. Alongside them, Kardashian’s soon-to-be hubby, Kris Humphries, has invited all of his New Jersey Nets teammates.
Apparently, there were so many invites to this wedding that Kardashian actually had to uninvite 50 guests because of space restrictions and fire hazards.
And let’s not forget about the dé©cor. Taking place at an estate in California, Kardashian ordered thousands of silver, white and black South African roses to fill the spaces that the ceremony and reception will be taking place in.
According to Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, the day is going to be full of surprises.
So many surprises, she said. Surprises for him, surprises for her¦ It’s going to be fantastic and I can’t wait till the party.
For those of us who haven’t been invited to Kardashian’s nuptials to Humphries or the party afterwards, don’t fret! The entire thing is going to be aired in a four-hour, two-part special on E! on October 9 and 10.
