Kate Hudson has been the face of Ann Taylor for a while — three seasons, specifically — so why shouldn’t she start designing for them?
Exactly. According to Vogue UK, the actress has designed a capsule collection for high summer 2013, working closely with the company’s creative director Lisa Axelson to design something in-step with Hudson’s own red carpet style.
“Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience and there is a really wonderful connection,” Kate said to WWD. “Ann Taylor is great at creating iconic wardrobe staples and updating them season after season. I love that Lisa Axelson is designing clothes for real women.”
Very cool! The actress’ line hits shelves in May, and we can (probably) expect the sneak peaks to begin trickling in soon.
