Kat Von D and Jesse James Head to Splitsville

Reality TV stars, Kat Von D and Jesse James, have called off their engagement.

Kat first made the announcement on her Twitter page.

“I am no longer w Jesse,” she wrote, “and out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.”

However, James was willing to divulge a tad bit more information, saying that the distance between where he lives in Texas and where Kat lives in LA was just too much for them to handle.

“I’m so sad because I really love her,” said the man famous for breaking Sandra Bullock’s heart. “The distance between us was just too much.”

Somehow, I don’t quite believe that their breakup was caused by physical distance. History is known to repeat itself, so I can’t help but wonder if there were a few other women in Jesse’s life.

Unfortunately for Kat though, the upcoming season premier of LA Ink features a very in-love Kat considering moving to Austin to be with Jesse and his three kids.

Kat and James began dating just after his separation from Sandra Bullock last year (James got caught having an affair with several different women). They were engaged by January and were planning a summer wedding.
